DINNER VENUE HAS MOVED from Mary Chung to Royal East

You are not alone! There are many health and human service providers who also have mental health issues.

Mary Chungs was closed for vacation in August. So we went to the nearby Royal East instead. Most people preferred the Royal East because they let us sit at a table of 12, had free parking, took seperate checks and let us pay with a credit card. Most people thought the food was better.

The Royal East is also Chinese food and is located at 792 Main Street, Cambridge, just a few blocks from Mary Chungs. Their phone number is (617) 661-1660. There is plenty of metered parking nearby and it is free after 6pm.

We get together once a month to network and support each other. We used to meet at the Ducky Wok in Brighton.

The dinner is open to anyone who would like to come.
We are now meeting on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6pm.

How to find us: We sit at table of 12 or ask staff for Howard.

Our January dinner was attended by 12 people.

Next Meetings: February 9th, 2012;     March 9th, 2012     April 12, 2012
Howard D. Trachtman will be at all of these meetings.

We are now meeting at the Royal East Restaurant 792 Main Street, Cambridge near Central Square.

Frequently people come from the Boston Resource Center or the new Hope Center by car and/or on the MBTA.

We are now part of the Metro Boston Recovery Learning Community

It's Chinese food and it is excellent. Expect entrees to run $7-$10+.

They also have frequent items like baby bok choi that aren't on the menu.

If you can't afford a dinner, please still come and have tea; others may share their food.
