WHAT IS L.O.V.E.?

L.O.V.E. stands for Lawrence Organizing Voices for Empowerment. We're a group of mental health consumers/survivors, many of whom live in the Greater Lawrence Area. We're aiming to make the mental health system adapt to OUR NEEDS There is power in numbers and we hope to speak in a united voice. We will claim the power that belongs to us.
We invite you to join us!

WHO CAN JOIN L.O.V.E.?

If you are an inpatient, outpatient, or ex-patient interested in improving the mental health system in the Greater Lawrence Area, we welcome you to join L.O.V.E.

WHY SHOULD I JOIN L.O.V.E.?

As members of L.O.V.E., we learn to speak up for ourselves as a group, become better informed consumers of mental health services, and advocate for ourselves. We need you to join L.O.V.E. because there is strength in unity. Everyone has something to contribute. Come share your time and talents and make a difference in the issues important to us as mental health consumers. You can be a voice for change in the system that affects our everyday lives.
